• La Asociación Americana de Diabetes (ADA), considerando la relevancia de la cronoterapia
en la HTA, recomienda a los pacientes con diabetes, ingerir uno o más medicamentos
antihipertensivos al acostarse.
• En España, cuando se usan varios antihipertensivos, recomiendan administrar al menos
uno en la noche (SEH – LEHA).
• En la HTA refractaria, en que se usan varias combinaciones de antihipertensivos, se
recomienda que al menos uno o más medicamentos se administren al acostarse, de
preferencia aquellos que bloquean el SRAA.
• Siempre hay que INDIVIDUALIZAR el tratamiento según las características del paciente
que vamos a tratar.
